Jetblue Pilot Taken From Cockpit Before Paris Flight By Police
Intro
A report is going around mentioning how Jetblue flight 33 from Boston to Paris Charles De Gaulle was delayed last night due to police offers removing the pilot from the flight deck.
The Details
Jetblue offers once-daily service from Boston to Paris using an A321neo scheduled to depart at 8:19 pm and land at Charles De Gaulle at 9:20 pm. Well, just yesterday, the flight was delayed an hour and a half due to the pilot having an outstanding warrant for second-degree sex exploitation as a minor.

The flight ended up pushing back an hour and 31 minutes late and arriving an hour and 28 minutes late into Paris.

Thankfully, the flight was departing from Boston, one of Jetblues main hubs, so the airline was able to find a replacement pilot in no time at all!
My Question
Obviously, when passengers enter the United States, they are subject to all sorts of security measures. However, when departing the United States, most of the same security measures are still in place. However, you just don't see them. I am going to make a post after this describing what this is about since I had to deal with this sh*t for months...
However, the question remains: why wasn't this picked up on before? Obviously, this wasn't the pilot's first flight, so how has this not been processed or cleared before (whichever is going to be the case)?
Final Thoughts
A Jetblue flight from Boston to Paris Charles De Gaulle was delayed an hour and a half the other day as the police came onboard to take the pilot away for questioning. The pilot had an outstanding warrant in North Carolina, but the question remains: why wasn't this picked up on before?
