Intro
With everything that is going on in the world today, most airlines in North America have banned flight attendants from wearing most flag pins. The outlier for quite some time has been United, but it seems like they are following suit here, finally.
The Details
Previously, flight attendants had the opportunity to wear flag pins representing their beliefs, where they are from, or honestly, whatever they choose. Obviously, there were probably some flag pins that were not allowed onboard, I would presume at least. However, going forward, United Airlines flight attendants will only be allowed to wear 18 flag pins, which primarily represent the United States of America.

This move is primarily coming into effect next month due to the number of controversial Palestinian flags we have seen on display, followed by many complaints.
Final Thoughts
United Airlines had announced that as of May 28th, flight attendants will be limited to wearing 18 pins, primarily representing the USA. Due to the update in uniforms, combined with the complaints about Palestinian flags, this is a smart move on United's part.
