Transfer Citi ThankYou Points To Qatar Airways: 20% Bonus

For those loyal to City Group and that has a credit card with them, you’ll be happy to know that they have just announced their latest transfer bonus, and this time, it is with Qatar Airways. If you have a reward that you are looking to book, this could be the perfect time to transfer over some points.
The Details
From February 16th- March 15th, 2025, customers wanting to transfer City ThankYou Points over to Qatar Airways will now receive an additional 20% bonus miles when doing so. Usually, these points transfer at a 1:1 ratio, but with the new transfer bonus, this now becomes a 1:1.2 ratio.
My advice would be to have a flight you are ready to book before transferring your points from Citi. I am never one to aspirationally transfer my points due to the constant rate of miles devaluing.

Hypothetically speaking, you could now fly from Los Angeles to Doha in Q Suites for 59,000 Citi Points after the transfer bonus (originally 70K).
If flying American is your thing (or Jetblue, for that matter), some good deals can be found around the Americas and down to the Caribbean (if under 2000 miles).
