Intro
Since Chase began allowing points transfers to Aeroplan back in 2021, we have now seen a total of 6 transfer bonuses, usually lasting around a month at a time. Well, Chase has just announced their next transfer bonus, and this could be a good way to book that redemption you had in mind!
The Details
From June 5th, 2025, until July 17th, 2025, those who are eligible with a Chase account can now transfer points over to Aeroplan at a 1:1.2 ratio. This is much more beneficial to consumers than the traditional 1:1 transfer ratio.
Additionally, those who have an Aeroplan card will also receive an additional 10% bonus, meaning that if you were to transfer 10,000 points to Aeroplan, this would display as 13,000 points.

Should You Take Advantage Of This?
Personally speaking, I am someone who will NOT transfer points unless I have a redemption in mind that can be booked immediately. However, there are some outliers that I want to point out, which might make it worthwhile:
This can make sense to transfer right now if you live in a region where there is plenty of availability through Aeroplan. As an example, if you frequent time in East Africa, you will know that Ethiopian Airlines releases plenty of award space across their vast network. Thus, it might make sense.
If you are waiting for the calendar to open and have been tracking that award space opens at a certain time, then it also might make sense.

Other than that, I stay in the camp that does NOT pre-emptively transfer points without a redemption ready to be booked. We see transfer bonuses come and go multiple times per year, so there is always next time.
Final Thoughts
Chase and Aeroplan have just partnered up to release their latest transfer bonus, and it isn't bad at all. Those looking to transfer points over to Aeroplan will receive a 20% bonus until July 17th, and furthermore, if you have an Aeroplan credit card (I don't sell credit cards on here lol) ,you will receive an extra 10% bonus. Not bad.
