Thai Airways Now Serving Caviar In Business Class
Intro
My favorite airline in the world has just announced its latest catering on flights between Bangkok and Europe, and wow does it look phenomenal. While traditionally, Caviar is primarily reserved for First Class (minus certain routes on QR), Thai Airways will now be serving caviar on routes to Europe!
I have to say, Thai Airways has been ramping up its service in the past few years, and it might go on to become one of the leading carriers in SE Asia if it's not careful.
The Details
Thanks to OMAAT for reporting this (I honestly had no idea), Thai Airways has taken to social media to announce that since January 1st, the airline has been serving caviar to business-class customers flying ex Europe (both ways).

Depending on when you will be flying, the caviar will be paired with different complimenting dishes.
January/May/September, caviar will be accompanied by Tuna Tartare & Avocado Tartare.
In February/ June/ October, caviar will be accompanied by Jumbo Crab Tian with spicy truffle dressing.
March/July/November, caviar will be accompanied by Grilled Hokkaido Poached Tiger Prawn & Green Apple.
April/September/December, caviar will be accompanied by Foie Gras (wow).
This is truly exceptional by Thai Airways; there are no two ways about it.

First Vs Business
For those looking to test out this new service, I just wanted to make a quick point. In Thai First Class (on select routes to Osaka, Tokyo, and London), the caviar that is offered is quite different from the caviar that will be served in business.
In First Class, passengers will receive all of the traditional garnishes plus a 30-gram tin of Osetra caviar.

On the contrary, in business class, it doesn't look like passengers will receive all of the garnishes. Instead, I believe that it is supposed to complement the dish.
Two other things to note:
While Thai Airways First Class offers passengers mother-of-pearl spoons, I wouldn't expect Thai Airways to offer this in business.
The caviar being offered to business class passengers will be Siberian Classic Caviar by Caviar Giaveri. Certainly not bad by any means, but not quite up to par with the First Class offerings.
Final Thoughts
Those happening to fly business class on Thai Airways from Europe to Bangkok or vice versa this coming year are in for a special treat. As of January 1st, all passengers ticketed in Business Class will not be served a 30-gram tin of Siberian Classic Caviar accompanied by a certain dish, depending on the month. Considering Thai Airways also serves Laurent Perrier as a champagne, their soft product keeps getting better and better.
