Save Up To 40% On British Airways Reward Flights

The premium United Kingdom based carrier, British Airways, has just launched quite an attractive sale on reward flights around Europe. Considering some last-minute summer fares could be expensive, this could be a fantastic deal to get around Europe, and even Northern Africa...

The Details

Starting July 16th, a few days ago, and ending on July 23rd, those looking to book a short-haul-medium-haul flight with miles onboard British Airways will save up to 40% off the going rate. The details are as follows:

• You must book after July 16th, and before July 23rd at 11:59 pm

• The intended travel must be between August 1st and December 18th, additionally (Jan 5-Feb 11 is permitted)

• The price will show automatically

• This only counts for the Avios side of the ticket, not the cash fees (taxes)

Some Good Rates To Be Had... However

Let's be honest, Avios are extremely easy to earn when it comes to transfer partners. Whether you are looking at Chase points, Amex Points, or whatnot, you have the option to obtain BA Avios easily.

And let's be frank, British Airways isn't the cheapest airline in the world either. Considering you get down to Paris for just 9K miles in Club Europe with some minor taxes, this represents a fantastic deal.

However, doing some research online, it seems that British Airways is not offering this to all routes. When I took a look at the likes of Ibiza (haha) and Palma, the promo was not available. Albeit these are reasonable rates, especially if splitting the cash fare, but still...

I feel like this should be for all flights that are regional, if they wanted to make this promo worthwhile, not just select ones they choose. At the same time, I'll take any promo I can get 😂.

Final Thoughts

For the next 5 days, until July 23rd, British Airways is having a sale on award tickets around (mostly) Europe, where you can save up to 40% off award tickets. Obviously, we will take any promo we can get, but I just wish more seats were available. Then again, maybe that is just me being greedy and wanting to go Ibiza for the low 🥴.
