Qatar Airways Goes Full Q-Suite To Bali For Peak Season

Intro
During the winter months in Bali, aka peak season, demand to Denpasar, Bali, surges through the roof. People from all over the world flock for summer break, a relaxing time on the beach, and probably have one too many bottles of rosé at Finns. But here is something interesting, Qatar has decided to go full Q-Suite this winter (summer in the North).
Q-Suite To Bali
Those looking to head to Bali from June until August in Qatar Business Class are in for an absolute treat. Every single flight that Qatar Airways is flying between the two cities will feature Q Suites, either on a 777 or an A350.
For those who are curious about what to expect depending on when you are flying, this is the rough schedule:
June to end of July 3x daily Q-Suite from Doha to Denpasar
August until beginning of November 2x daily Q-Suites on the A350, and 3x weekly Q-Suite on the 777 (4x weekly non Q-Suite)
November onwards, it goes back to all non-Q-Suite aircraft with 21x weekly flights in lie-flat seats.
My Thoughts
I have to say, I find this quite an interesting strategy by Qatar Airways in the Bali market. They are mainly competing against Turkish Airlines, Etihad, and Emirates, on this route, which all offer a similar standard of a J hard product (minus EK). With travel booming in Europe this time of year, where routes are more competitive, I would have thought they would double down on Europe.
Clearly, that is why I don't work for an airline 😂
As expected, I am not seeing many award seats being opened up from Doha to Denpasar through partner programs such as American Airlines. Usually November/December/January, it can be quite easy to find an award seat about 2-3 weeks out, but nothing as of now. If you are looking for an award seat, I see many open on one of the three daily flights to Jakarta (also the Garuda codeshare).
Final Thoughts
If you happen to be flying on Qatar Airways in Business Class to Denpasar during the peak season (June-October), you will be pleased to know that Qatar Airways has gone full Q-Suite until August, and then 17x weekly until November. This is big news for vacation goers, and now makes for the best way to get to the island.
