Intro
Hi there!Â
I just wanted to touch base about my next series I will be covering on this blog: a trip back East. After finishing up the long weekend trip to Fiji, I figured that it was time to showcase the next whirlwind on my adventures. While not the most interesting trip on paper, would it really be a trip on this blog if there was no drama involved??? 😅
Why I Took This Trip
Last September, I was sitting in class on a Tuesday afternoon when I got a call from my sister in Rhode Island that she was going through a difficult time. With my mum in New York, she drove up to Rhode Island, while I hopped on a plane on a Thursday night to Boston.Â

While a lot of the time I might sound like a confused platypus when I write, family (close friends as well) is an important aspect to my life, and when people need me to be there, I will drop anything to be there in a time of need. Perhaps it is something I need to stop doing since I don’t focus on myself enough, but this is a travel blog, not a therapy session 😅.
What I Will Be Covering On This TripÂ
For starters, let me show what this small trip back East was supposed to entail:Â
Review: United Club Los Angeles (LAX)
Quick Review: United 737 Max 8 Economy LAX-BOS
Driving from Rhode Island to New YorkÂ
Review: United 787 Business Class Newark to Los AngelesÂ
Now for what actually happened, and what I will be covering 😅:Â
Review: United Club Los Angeles (LAX)
Quick Review: United 737 Max 8 Economy LAX-BOS
Driving from Rhode Island to New YorkÂ
Review: Hotel Elysee New York (now closed, though)
Quick Review: United Domestic First A320 EWR-IAD
Quick Review: United Economy E135 IAD-PVD
Babysitting a 4-year-old for the first time in my life (disaster 🥴)
Review: American Airlines Admiral Club BostonÂ
Review: American Airlines E175 Domestic First Boston-New York (10 people on the plane)
Re-Review: American Airlines Chelsea Lounge JFK (DSLR pics)Â
Review: American Airlines Flagship First JFK-LAX A321T
Meeting Camila Morrone on the plane (sitting next to her lol)Â

So yeah, what was supposed to be a very easy weekend with two flights quickly turned into babysitting duty, 5 flights, and running on almost no sleep. It’s a review-heavy trip, which I guess is good since readers seem to like the reviews, but it should be a lot of fun to read as I write as if I haven’t slept in 13 business weeks 😂 (a mess).Â
Final Thoughts
I hope you enjoyed the last review trip to Fiji, and before writing about my next international trip down to the salt flats in Bolivia, I figured that I would talk about this trip back East first. What was supposed to be an easy weekend soon turned into sleepless nights, meeting celebrities on a plane, and babysitting a young kid. I’ll be posting 1-2 per day going forward, and should be all wrapped up by the end of next week.Â
