A Japanese man, whose name has not been revealed, has been arrested after making 580 hotel reservations over multiple nights. The worst night seemed to come at a time in December 2024, when this man decided to book 258 rooms for a single night, which happens to fall right around peak season...

This isn't something you hear about every day...

Keep in mind, this meant that the man reserved the equivalent of 49,000$ for a single night, and over 114,000$ totally across the 580 rooms. Supposedly, the man used fake email addresses and names, which would in turn lead to no suspicion in the short term, but after doing this multiple times, the hotel contacted the police due to this causing financial harm...

I've Heard Petty, But...

We all have heard of those petty stories where people spend an ample amount of time seeking revenge for something, but this is honestly next level. Think about it, to type in all of your details online to book 580 hotel reservations takes a serious amount of time. Even with my data saved, it takes over 1 minute to book a hotel. Let's say he was fast, and could do it in 2 minutes per booking, he spent roughly 19 hours booking reservations 😅.

You could fly from New York to Singapore in less time 😂
