Eurowings Genius Coffee Cart: AMAZING

Intro

As a fellow coffee lover and someone who travels extensively, it is always hit or miss when it comes to onboard coffee. A lot of the time it will either be the heinous onboard brewed coffee, canned coffee, or occasionally illy coffee. Well, it seems that Eurowings is trialing out some new idea in which they have a coffee cart, where passengers can get freshly made coffee. WOW!

The Details: 

A recent video went viral when Jay Robert posted a video on Instagram showcasing the new “Eurowings Coffee Cart”. Much like on the ground, this coffee cart lets passengers choose from the following options: 

• Cappuccino

• Latte Macchiato

• Espresso

• Double Espresso

• Cafe Latte

• Chococino

• Espresso Macchiato

• Hot Chocolate

Now look, a lot of people may dislike coffee when it comes from a cart, but this is miles better than the average airline coffee. Of course, as I mentioned earlier, there are some airlines like Austrian and EVA Air who take it to the next level, but this isn’t the norm. 

To be able to have a nice cappuccino in the sky at 36,000 feet, and not worry (hopefully) that the “coffee machine is broken” is something I will value. Unfortunately, I don’t fly Eurowings (I did fly the Discover branch), but I hope this is rolled out to more airlines in the future soon!

Final Thoughts

If you are a lover of coffee and a lover of traveling, you’ll be happy to know that there might be a new idea for the future of coffee on a plane. A recent video leaked showcasing Eurowings having a “coffee cart” where passengers can choose from multiple different options. Now, let’s just hope this rolls out to more airlines!
