Intro
In this day and age, influencers do almost anything for clicks online. Some of these adventures are fun, and some of them make you question where humanity has gone.
Well, British YouTuber Miles Routledge decided to do something quite funny, and chase his lost AirPods all the way to Pakistan. I mean, if he has the funds, then why not 😅.
What Happened
Over a year ago, the YouTuber named Miles Routledge (who goes by Lord Miles) checked into a hotel in Dubai and realized his AirPods were missing. Once he declared them 'missing', he decided to place them in lost mode.
A year went by with absolute silence, until they finally popped up in Punjab, Pakistan 🇵🇰, close to a restaurant called "2nd wife".
He contacted the police in the area, who launched an investigation and were able to pinpoint the person selling the AirPods. Although at this point, they had probably changed hands multiple times (just how it is in these situations), so the man selling them had a receipt for paying for the AirPods originally.
Lord Miles flew into Pakistan, signed the forms, and the police proceeded to take him out to lunch at the restaurant, 2nd wife 😂.

A Few Thoughts
There are a few different points that I wanted to share about this becasue there are two different angles to approach:
A lot of people will ask, "Why did he fly to Pakistan when buying a new pair of AirPods is cheaper?" Fair enough, but think about how much traction this story is gaining, and honestly, think it is always quite cool to go on a search for stuff when you lose it. There are certainly worse things to be doing than going for lunch with the police in Pakistan. Lowkey, sort of jealous!
The other critical point is that this is a very common practice. Oftentimes, you hear stories about Apple products being snatched in certain parts of Europe and sold off to places in Asia. While losing stuff happens, try your best to keep your Apple products with you as much as possible. There is a market for stolen Apple products, and people exploit that. The harsh reality...
Final Thoughts
YouTuber by the name of Lord Miles took it upon himself to fly to Pakistan after his AirPods finally pinged one year after losing them. While most people say he could have bought 5 more pairs, it's quite a cool story that he ended up having lunch with the police in Punjab, Pakistan.
