Aman (Nai Lert) Bangkok Opening April 2025
Intro
As an avid Aman lover and someone who views the Aman chain as the nicest in the world, I am twisted for a number of reasons about the new route the Aman chain is taking. As known, under previous ownership, the Aman would look to build most of their properties in remote locations, providing an unmatched experience. However, under new ownership, the Aman chain has changed its strategy and is now building Aman hotels in cities. While New York (yes, there are others such as Tokyo, I know) has been around for a while now, there is now one due to open in Bangkok in a few months. I gotta say, it looks impressive.
The Details
The brand's first-ever resort is Amanpuri, just south of Bangkok in Phuket. Well, as of April 2nd, it seems that the Aman will be bringing their second resort to Thailand since Aman Nai Lert is set to open.
The 52 all-suite property is located in Nai Lert Park, approximately 45 minutes away from the airport and 15 minutes away from central Bangkok (depending on traffic, of course).
Additionally, Aman Nai Lert is only a 9-minute drive away from Soi Cowboy 😉 (I'm joking. Relax).
With rooms starting at 990 square feet, they look absolutely stunning. Now, with rates starting at 1200 per night in the off-season, a lot of people are going to try and pick a bone about the price. However, considering the Four Seasons (similar to the Capella) start at around 500 per night and aren't remotely as nice/as big (the rooms), I don't see this as a terrible value.

Aman Nai Lert Amenities
The Aman is holding nothing back when it comes to amenities for this property. The property will feature the following:
16,150 square foot wellness area
Seven treatment rooms
A hydrotherapy area
A full gym
An 82-foot outdoor pool (interestingly, no indoor pool)
In terms of dining, there will be the following options:
An Aman Lounge (serving small bites throughout the day)
An Italian restaurant named "Arva"
A sushi omakase experience named "Seusi"
A 14-seat Japenese teppanyaki experience named "Hiori"
Lastly, a bar named "1872", which will feature traditional Thai Cuisine as well as Western food options.

I've gotta say, this property looks stunning all around, as an Aman should.
Final Thoughts
While the idea of building an Aman hotel in Bangkok was brought up back in 2019, it is almost time for the Aman's 36th property to open. Beginning April 2nd, 2025, customers can now stay in what might be the swankiest hotel in Bangkok, featuring sensational dining options, monstrous suites, and plenty of amenities; that 1200$ per night might be worth it.
