Intro
Earlier this week, I spoke about how United Airlines and American Airlines had both temporarily suspended flights from North America to Dubai/Doha. Well, it seems that multiple airlines from around the world has decided to follow suit in light of the escalation.
Who Is Cancelling?
As of now, it seems that airlines are pretty much split over whether or not to fly to the Middle East at the moment. At the moment of writing this, a Lufthansa A340 is en route from Frankfurt to Dubai, while many other routes have been cancelled today.
So here is the list of airlines that have cancelled either some or all flights:
Air France 1X daily cancelled to Dubai
British Airways 3X daily cancelled to Dubai (June 22nd)
1/3X daily flights cancelled to Doha (June 22nd)
Air Canada 1X daily cancelled to Dubai
Iberia cancelled their 1x daily (June 22nd)
There are some more smaller carriers that have opted to heavily delay flights/cancel

There are some major carriers still operating in these regions, such as:
Swiss Airlines is still flying their 1x daily flight from ZRH to Dubai
Lufthansa, as mentioned above, is still operating
Turkish Airlines is still operating 4x daily
ITA is still operating 1x daily

A Quick Thought
As talked about in the previous post, foreign airlines have continued to keep pulling stock on flights to the Middle East. With many local carriers, such as Emirates and Qatar, I presume that insurance isn't as much of an issue compared to carriers from the West.
The one interesting part to me that stood out was the flight path that the ITA A321Neo flew from Dubai to Rome. Most flights, even during the escalation of conflict, brisk by the Egyptian border and make their way up. However, the ITA A321Neo came up about halfway across Egypt, really factoring in safety.
Final Thoughts
With American Airlines and United Airlines suspending flights from North America to the Middle East last week, it seems that more airlines are now following suit. Air France, Iberia, British Airways, and Air Canada all cancelled flights today (June 22nd), with some of the Star Alliance carriers still operating.
